Trustee Jeff Richardson moved, “I move that the Board of Trustees adopt the Order Canvassing Returns and Declaring Results of Bond Election, as presented.” Trustee Dale Whitaker seconded the motion, which the board approved unanimously, 5–0, finalizing the district’s formal certification of the canvass. The board’s canvass board had verified that figures on tally sheets corresponded with the figures on the return forms for both early voting and election day and that the calculated totals matched the posted election results.
Following adoption of the canvass order, Trustee Jeff Richardson moved to adjourn; Trustee Terrence Moore seconded the motion and the meeting adjourned at 6:15 p.m. The meeting record lists trustees Jeff Richardson, Michael LeCroy (president), Dale Whitaker, Terrence Moore and Jody Piper as present and notes Brittany Seal, Pat Rhodes, Irene Blount and Gary Waitman as other attendees.
