Paducah ISD says main-building roof complete; residence roof work and gopher treatment planned

Superintendent Gary Waitman reported that "the roofing project on the main building is complete" and said the district will reassess outer buildings once temperatures warm, with replacements for school-owned residences on 12th Street and 16th Street to begin soon, according to roofing contractor Greg Carroll with Armko.
Waitman also said Derrick Pate of P8 Services proposed treating the gopher problem at the football field and track: an initial upfront cost of $450 and then $200 per month as needed during active periods. The board discussed these facilities items as part of the superintendent's report but did not vote on roofing or pest-control contracts during the March 26 session.
