The PITTSBURG ISD Board of Trustees elected its 2026–2027 leadership during a reorganization at the May 11 meeting.
Trustee Christian Yantis moved to nominate Greg Miller as board president; Bryan Berry seconded. "I make a motion to approve the nomination of Greg Miller as the New 2026-2027 Board of Trustees President," the mover stated. The motion passed with six yeas and one abstention recorded as "Greg Miller: Abstain (With Conflict)." The roll call lists Bryan Berry, Lawrence Cleveland, Linsey Harwell, Vernon Rowe, Mario Willis and Christian Yantis voting yea.
Trustee Bryan Berry then moved to nominate Christian Yantis as vice president; Linsey Harwell seconded. The motion passed with the same tally pattern: six yeas and one abstention (Christian Yantis abstained "With Conflict").
The board also approved Bryan Berry as secretary following a motion by Christian Yantis and a second from Lawrence Cleveland. The transcript records the vote as six yeas with Bryan Berry abstaining "With Conflict." All clerked votes and tallies were entered into the meeting record.
The reorganizational votes were taken by motion and roll call, and the board proceeded to other business after the leadership appointments.
