Board review finds two trustees short on required continuing-education hours

At the April 13 meeting Frank Richards reviewed the board's annual continuing-education status, identifying areas of completion and deficiency among trustees.
Richards reported that on Team Building all trustees have completed required hours; in Additional continuing education Melanie Roudkovski is deficient by two hours and Mike Smith by five hours. On Evaluating Student Academic Performance & Setting Goals, Drew Seidel has completed while other trustees have scheduled training; on Identifying & Reporting Abuse and School Safety, Mike Smith was listed as deficient while other trustees had completed training. Richards indicated no further board action was required at this time.
The board did not vote on training requirements during the meeting; the report was informational.
