Greenwood Lake to hold public workshop on lake weed and geese control Feb. 21

Trustee Veth announced a public workshop on Saturday, Feb. 21 at 10 a.m. at the Greenwood Lake Senior Center that will cover lake weed control and humane geese control programs. Representatives from the Greenwood Lake Commission and the committee for humane geese control will present and the village is seeking volunteers, especially property owners with lakefront or large grassy areas.
Veth said the workshop will include presentations and an invitation for volunteers: “On the lake, we will be having a public workshop on Saturday, February 21 at 10AM at the Greenwood Lake Senior Center. This is gonna be, the topics will be, lake weed control and geese control programs. We have representatives from the Greenwood Lake Commission and the committee for humane geese control.” Residents unable to attend were asked to email Trustee Veth for information.
