First-time homebuyer at Newton County hearing: rising taxes make it hard to stay

"So what are we gonna do when we are still on the same salary that we were 4 years ago... So what are we going to do? Please help us," Katina told the board. The meeting provided no immediate policy response from commissioners; the public-comment period will continue at the scheduled Aug. 4 hearing.
