The sheriff’s office received appropriations tied to homeland security grants — $75,000 for the Operation Stonegarden award and $13,127 for LETPP equipment and Internet services — for a combined sheriff total of $88,127.
Finance Committee chair Mr. Kehl presented the resolution; the motion carried with the board recorded as Ayes 201, Noes 0. The minutes show the audit committee presented payment of bills totaling $12,894,715.50 for June 2026 during the same session. The package is intended to allow departments to continue programs through the end of their fiscal or grant periods.
