Clerk Kathleen Holder delivered the water department report for May–June 2026 and said the village's water plant capital improvement project has been approved by the New York State Department of Health and is being put out to bid. The clerk said the village will schedule a pre-bid meeting with Delaware Engineering and prospective contractors to review design plans before accepting bids.
Holder also reported routine operational work — sampling and testing, dig-safe markouts, maintenance of the water truck and flocculator adjustments, and receipt of chemical deliveries. The clerk said the DOH completed an on-site inspection on May 15 and the village is waiting for the inspection report. The board said staff and engineers will provide project oversight during design and construction.
