Board OKs $60,000 addendum to pump‑track contract; clearing planned at Winstanley Park

At the June 17 meeting the Greenwood Lake Village Board approved Resolution No. 2 of 2026–2027 to execute an addendum to the Artesian Concrete Services contract (publicly bid contract #090425) that increases the pump-track project budget by about $60,000. Mayor Hallie said the additional funding was found through the town and partners, and the village will serve as lead agent for the project.
Trustee Matt Bett said crews will begin cutting trees and clearing brush in the vicinity of the pump track at the back of Winstanley Park this summer, with construction expected to start in the early fall. "We are looking to start cutting trees and clearing the bush in the vicinity of the pump track," the mayor said; trustees approved the addendum by voice vote. The board emphasized the change will not increase costs to Greenwood Lake taxpayers because outside funds were secured.
The village will coordinate park-clearing activity and notify neighbors of the schedule. The board indicated it expects construction to follow the clearing and that the project has been long in development.
