Mayor says water plant refurbishing to start in spring; village urges completion of state lead survey

Separately, Clerk Holder said second water notices were mailed (due Feb. 13) and that the village also mailed a state-mandated lead waterline survey. Clerk Holder reported about 104 residents have completed the survey out of an estimated 1,300 required, and urged full participation, offering in-person help at Village Hall for those who are not tech-savvy.
Officials stressed the survey is required by New York State and the village will continue outreach until compliance improves.
