Wyoming County’s Human Services Committee on July 28 approved several grant applications and service contracts covering youth services, preschool-related therapy, residential foster care and indigent funeral payments.
Resolutions authorized a Family-Centered Case Management Services grant for at least $165,385 (SFY 2026/2027) and a Raise the Age Program award up to $83,521 (effective April 1, 2026–March 31, 2027). The committee also approved a contract with Together for Youth for residential foster care services not to exceed $142,141.95 (effective July 1, 2026–June 30, 2027) and a contract with Optimal Therapy Associates Services (OTAS) of Buffalo for Preschool Related Services (MUNIS Contract #3906) covering Sept. 1, 2026–June 30, 2027. Finally, the committee authorized a contract with Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, Inc. for indigent funeral payments, effective July 1, 2026–Dec. 31, 2027.
Motions were recorded as carried with six ayes and one absence (Prior) on the items as listed in the committee minutes. The minutes reference General Municipal Law §104(b) for the contracts processed through the State WMS system.
