The parks director said gates opened at about 5:00 p.m. and the fireworks show began at approximately 9:15 p.m. Staff reported 11 food vendors and 17 non‑food vendors, volunteer support from Boy Scout Troop 116 and in‑kind security from Zach Security. The staff budget summary listed event expenditures of $49,359, $31,100 in donations (including three $10,000 donations listed in the packet), and a city contribution of $18,259. The council voted unanimously to adopt the resolution accepting the donations and thanked event organizers and donors.
