County schedules special meeting after $1.6 million engineering grant awarded for 214th Street

By consensus, the board agreed to meet Thursday, July 9 at 8:30 a.m. to approve the agreement.
Steffensen also reported the board had $1,050,207 left to allocate to balance the 2027 General Fund and listed candidate projects including 214th Street engineering, Elkton Street, courthouse cupola work, Big Sioux River dike mitigation, and non-mandated funding. The special meeting is intended to finalize the engineering agreement and move that project forward.
