The Brookings County Board of County Commissioners voted unanimously to adopt Resolution #26-24, which directs the County Finance Officer to place distress warrants returned by the sheriff as uncollectable on the county's uncollectable list. Finance Specialist Jenna Baker provided background information and cited the statutory requirement under SDCL 10-22-30.
The resolution notes that a complete listing of uncollectable mobile homes on leased sites will be maintained on file in the Brookings County Finance Office. Chairperson Shawn Hostler signed the resolution and the board recorded an aye vote by all five members.
