Residents urge speed bumps on Argyle Road after repeated speeding and stop‑sign violations

Deputy Mayor Eric G. Brown and other trustees did not commit to immediate traffic‑calming measures at the meeting; the Board heard the complaints during the public‑comment portion and advised residents on how to report recurring problems to Village Hall.
The requests included appeals to community leaders: Nirit Jasse of 369 Argyle Road asked local rabbis to advise congregants not to walk in the street while wearing dark clothing at night. The Board noted it has limited authority over some matters raised during public comment and did not announce a specific plan or vote on traffic changes at this meeting.
