The Murray City Planning Commission covered routine business and land‑use decisions at its Aug. 6 meeting and adjourned at 6:47 p.m.
Vice Chair Katie Rogers opened the meeting and the commission first approved minutes for June 18 and July 2. Commissioners then confirmed there were no conflicts of interest and approved findings of fact for four items (ClickIT Auto CUP; Affordable Bath LLC major home occupation; Flora Gardens LLC CUP; VDS Salt Lake City CUP). The body then heard two conditional‑use permit applications: Skyline Auto Sales (139 W. 4500 S.) and Salt Lake Stronghold (a private gym at 4395 S. 500 W.); staff recommended approval in both cases and the commission voted unanimously to approve each CUP subject to the conditions listed in the respective staff reports. Staff announced the APA conference in Layton (Sept. 8–10) and noted the next meeting on Aug. 20 before the commission moved to adjourn.
