The Fayette County Board of Commissioners on June 15 approved change order #10 for the Rattlesnake Wastewater Treatment Plant contract with Peterson Construction Company, adding $156,482 for tank cleaning and related minor work.
"$156,482.00 to be added with the depletion of owner contingency for work associated with the project, increasing the total amount to $18,518,965.00," the clerk read as the board approved the change order on a unanimous vote. Commissioner Donald L. Fleak moved the action and Commissioner Tony Anderson seconded.
The minutes state the change order covers tank cleaning and minor associated work; the complete change order is on file with the county. The board recorded the vote as three ayes with no dissent. The approval notes the owner contingency will be depleted by this work, increasing the county's total contract commitment for the Rattlesnake WWTP to $18,518,965.
