Rob Cameron updated the board that the town is submitting documentation to DEC related to sewer-line work on Route 12 and that grant paperwork remains in process. He said the town "did not receive that award" this round but has debriefed with reviewers and received advice for a stronger application next summer.
Cameron said testing in Swan Bay "did yield us maximum amount of points for water quality," and that the application also received points tied to failed septic systems in the area. Reviewers recommended completing additional Climate Smart Community items to gain scoring points; Cameron offered to work with the board on completing those tasks before the next funding round.
