She reported the program has 32 participants — 15 from Cassia County and 17 from Minidoka County — and that staff administered 60 drug tests in April, 50 of which were clean and 10 positive. She said $406.80 was submitted for reimbursement related to the program during the reporting period.
Goffinet also provided enforcement and workload figures: May saw 23 citations in Cassia and 16 in Minidoka, with year‑to‑date citation totals of 88 (Cassia) and 66 (Minidoka). Year‑to‑date probation violations were 13 in Cassia and 27 in Minidoka, and caseloads currently range from about 20 to 35 per officer. Staff training needs were discussed briefly during the report.
