At the meeting the board considered several secondary-roads items presented by Laura Severs (secondary roads). Severs asked the board to vacate excess county right-of-way on 170th Lane and return it to adjacent landowners, citing map and survey references included in the packet. The board approved the resolution by unanimous voice vote.
Severs also asked the board to add a curved connector to the secondary road system (to be named "014 Lane") to correct mapping and address delivery/addressing issues for landowners; that measure passed unanimously.
On contract LB7397 Severs presented a signed contract from Dixon Construction Company for a bridge replacement project in the amount of $974,948.95. "This was the project that was approved last week, and the contractor signed it and would like to get started within a week or two," Severs said. The board approved the contract by unanimous vote.
The actions were processed as routine agenda items under the consent/secondary roads section and carried with 5–0 votes.
