The Town of Hubbardston Open Space Committee voted to approve its previous meeting minutes after members noted a missing correction about allowable funding sources and an incorrect meeting time. Chair Bob Hatch led the discussion and the minutes passed on a voice vote.
Committee treasurer Stephanie Friend reported the committee's accounts: the open-space donation account stood at $214, the Rider Fund at $4,001.25, and the Hubbardston Preservation Trust balance was updated to $22,001.99 after locating paperwork that had been posted to the wrong account. "The total is now $22,001.99," Friend said during the report. Members asked staff (Marsha) to follow up on interest posting and to update accounting entries before the next meeting.
The committee discussed that project funding could come from multiple sources and asked staff to reflect those sources in the minutes. No formal budget reallocations were made at the meeting; members noted upcoming claims against the funds for trail signage and small maintenance projects. The committee set a schedule to revisit the accounts and confirm availability for planned trail work.
