The board introduced a new, consolidated Redwood Sewer Ordinance—to be enacted as Local Law 3 of 2025—and agreed to schedule a public hearing at the next meeting. Sandy told the board the ordinance is roughly 40 pages and consolidates prior amendments and local practices into a single document.
"It's going to be a local law, Local Law 3 of 2025, and it is a... we took our sewer origin for Redwood... and changes," Sandy said, describing the ordinance as an update to current operating practices (EDUs, capital payback and bond-related terms). The board voted to introduce the local law and indicated the full text is published on the town website for review.
