Board approves purchase of 10 sedans for sheriff's investigation personnel

Fleet Management and representatives of the Sheriff's Office recommended accepting the low bid from Fleet Vehicle Source Incorporated (doing business as US Fleet Source) to supply 10 large or midsize sedans used by investigative personnel.
"These vehicles will be used by the sheriff's office investigation personnel for their everyday tasks," Britt Rosencutter said during the presentation. The board voted to accept the low bid and move forward; Fleet Management said vehicles will be outfitted with lights and sirens prior to use by investigators.
