Town schedules water-main work on South Cle Elum Way starting May 6

"Pipe and equipment have been staged on the empty lots east of Town Hall and work/digging is starting on Wednesday May 6, 2026 along South Cle Elum Way," he said, and staff confirmed the contractor Fury Site Works is on site with a Vactor truck to begin potholing for utilities.
The council recorded the staging and start date as part of unfinished business. The project also coincides with routine right-of-way mowing and park-host preparations for summer. No change orders, contract award details, or a completion timeline were provided at the meeting; council directed staff to proceed with the scheduled start and return updates as work progresses.
