Trustees approve treasurer's report; chair flags untransferred Justice CE grant funds

Trustees approved the September 2024 treasurer's report after brief discussion about grant accounting. Motion to approve was made by Guy, seconded by Ryan, and carried by voice vote.
During the discussion the chair noted a Justice CE line item had not yet been transferred to cover the cost of a grant received from the justice court and said he would pull the minutes and forward the prior motion to the treasurer to effect the transfer. "The Justice CE line item, I think, still reflects the, hasn't been there hasn't been money transferred to cover, the cost of the grant that we received from the justice court," the chair said when prompting follow-up action. The board asked the clerk and treasurer for the certified payroll and paperwork necessary to reconcile the line item.
No additional appropriations were approved at the meeting related to the issue; the board carried the treasurer's report and asked staff to follow up to ensure proper recording of the grant transfer.
