Council hears $10,000 amendment to accept donations for Highway 21 fairgrounds upgrades

She said the donations would be used for upgrades including a barrel-racing timer, scoreboard, lighting panel and large arena ceiling fans.
Council members did not ask substantive questions on the equipment list, and the chair moved to refer the finance items, including this amendment, to the full council for formal consideration.
