Council welcomes new CAL FIRE Riverside County unit chief Robert Fish

"Chief Fish began his career in 1992 as a volunteer firefighter in Moreno Valley...in December 2025, chief Fish was appointed to the CAL FIRE Riverside County fire unit chief," Otterman said.
Robert Fish then introduced himself and emphasized the department’s commitment to local partnership. "I and the department take, the relationship we have with the city of Norco very seriously," Fish said, telling the council he looks forward to working on upcoming initiatives and community relations.
The council welcomed Fish with applause and no formal action was required. The introduction provided an opportunity for council members and staff to meet the new unit chief and signal continued collaboration between Norco and CAL FIRE Riverside County.
