Council members and staff discussed the town’s storage capacity shortfall and aesthetic expectations for a proposed storage building at the May 7 workshop. The workshop record notes the Rauch well proposal would not resolve storage needs and “still requires Lakeside to build a water tower.”
During discussion, council members said they would like any new storage building to resemble the appearance of the town’s Well 6 building so it would blend with surrounding structures. That design preference was discussed as part of broader concerns about how the town will integrate new capacity into existing infrastructure.
