Trappe schedules March 13 interviews after three ENR treatment-plant design bids received

Attorney Lyndsey Ryan told the council that three proposals were received for ENR treatment-plant design and bidding-phase services and provided the bid totals: Rauch, Inc. for $345,260 plus $45,000 for PFA treatment (total $390,260); KCI, Inc. for $632,000 plus $47,500 for headworks (total $679,500); and GMB for $721,254.73 plus $64,967.16 for PFA (total $786,221.89).
Ryan said the Council has a criteria scale to evaluate the proposals and scheduled a Special Meeting/Workshop on March 13 at 1:00 p.m. to interview the three firms before making a contract decision. No selection or award was made at the March 5 meeting.
