As part of the consent agenda on Dec. 11, the J. Sterling Morton HSD 201 Board approved multiple personnel actions spanning certified and non-certified staff. Notable entries include the hiring of Jenna Boyajian as a Special Education teacher at Morton West effective at the start of the 2025–2026 school year; coaching/club assignments such as Angelica Chavez for the Youth Technology Corps Club at Morton East; and substitute and night-school teacher appointments. The minutes list non-certified security staffing changes including Karina Pacheco (transfer to 10-month full-time security, effective 12/16/2024) and other staffing updates.
The personnel block also recorded leaves and retirements with effective dates: examples include a maternity leave for Katherine Creech (effective 09/15/2025–10/31/2025) and retirements for Karen Bellafiore and others with specified effective dates. Several resignations were recorded with dates (e.g., Raleigh Moon effective 12/25/2024). These items were approved as part of agenda item 11.5.
