Town hears updates as local solar projects begin producing and near completion

Board members reported progress on multiple solar projects. The Chair said the Garrett Silver system is "hot" and producing electricity into the grid and that staff (Bridget/Bridal referenced) are finalizing numbers for payments and schedules to share with the board when available. "So as a result... they are producing electricity, and it is going into the system," the Chair said.
Separately, the Chair reported the Baird solar project is nearing completion and that the permit should be closeable in the next month. Staff said they expect final production and billing numbers soon and will circulate figures to the board when available.
