Jessica Tagestad of Wold Engineering asked the council to add a bill for $53,705.83 to the bills list and updated council on the 2024 Street Project. Tim, a representative from Mayo Construction, told council crews will begin curb removal next week and hoped to start paving the week of Aug. 24. Tagestad and council members discussed grass-seeding difficulties after initial planting in 2025 and reseeding in 2026; council concluded Mayo met contractual obligations and moved to close out the 2024 Street Project.
Council Member Getzlaff moved to close out the project and Council Member Mehlhoff seconded; on roll call all voted yes. Council said it would assist with any remaining complications but did not authorize additional contract changes at this meeting.
