School Board authorizes certificates of election and directs clerk to deliver after contest period

At the Nov. 12 meeting the board approved, 6‑0 (AJ Lindell absent), a resolution authorizing the chair and school board clerk to execute certificates of election for AJ Lindell, Madilynn Lurken and Erica Aronson. Member Debb Paquin moved the resolution and Chair Tonya Craig seconded.
The resolution directs the clerk to deliver certificates after the time for contesting the election has passed and after candidates have filed required campaign financial reports under Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 211A. The clerk is also instructed to enclose forms of acceptance of office and an oath of office with each certificate.
