Hague food pantry to distribute Thanksgiving turkeys; local group to receive $5,000 emergency support

Chair (S8) announced that the Hague Food Pantry is accepting Thanksgiving turkey and meal-box orders through Friday, Nov. 14, with pickup scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 26 at the community center between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Residents were given a contact number for pantry coordinator Amanda Peterson and an email (Haguefoodpantry@gmail.com) to reserve meals and provide household size information.
S8 also told the board that the Glens Falls Foundation recently approved a $5,000 emergency distribution intended to strengthen local pantry operations across Warren and neighboring counties; the town’s pantry will be receiving a check by mail. The board encouraged donations and volunteer help for distribution and noted forms and donation information were available at the meeting.
