Town staff present three renovation options for visitor center bathrooms and pavilion site

Town staff told the board that public input did not support building a new visitor center and that staff will produce cost estimates for three options to update the existing facility.
“'The 1st option is to renovate those bathrooms as is,'” the Chair summarized, listing two additional options: minimally enlarging the men's room by taking some closet space, or removing covered space to create two larger bathrooms. Staff noted that any change would require board agreement and would be coordinated with the master-plan location for a performance pavilion at the north lakeside corner.
The board asked staff to return with broad cost estimates for each option before taking a policy decision.
