Trappe introduces FY2026 budget ordinance proposing tax rates and $189.80 trash fee

Commissioner Walter Chase moved to introduce Ordinance 1-2025; Commissioner Jeremy Newnam seconded and the motion passed unanimously. A public hearing on Ordinance 1-2025 is scheduled for May 7, 2025 at 5:45 p.m.
The Council did not take final action on the ordinance at the meeting; introduction places the measure on the agenda for the public hearing and subsequent consideration.
