The moderator explained the CDBG program funds housing, economic infrastructure and planning activities intended to benefit low- and moderate-income persons and outlined accommodations for persons with disabilities or who need translation services. Written comments were accepted by email to Maureen Beach at mbeach@talonberryny.gov until July 14 at 9 a.m.; the transcript indicates the application itself is due by July 31, with the consultant expecting to file before the deadline.
The hearing closed after a motion to do so and a recorded 'Aye' on the vote. The town will proceed to its regular board meeting after a short pause and will accept written comments through the stated deadline.
