The applicant for 3 Beekman Street (DS Center for the Arts) submitted revisions to the site plan, stormwater pollution prevention plan and landscape layout. Engineer Mike Bodenhorff told the board that additional hornbeam screening had been added and that sidewalk adjustments and stormwater calculations were updated.
City engineering review found the SWPPP acceptable with a few cleanup comments; staff noted that a stormwater maintenance and easement agreement will be required prior to construction. Planners and the board preferred timers that shut lighting off after 9 p.m. rather than motion sensors. The board voted to adopt the LWRP consistency statement and then adopted the amended site plan resolution.
