Consultant outlines alumni website, 5,600-member outreach for South Huntington

Jason Zav, vice president of communications for Standard Advisors Group, presented the board with an update on a district-wide alumni outreach effort aimed at connecting graduates to current students and to one another.
"That network right now is 5,600 alumni, and there's a lot more to go," Zav said, and described a survey that yielded more than 100 responses spanning graduates from the 1960s through the class of 2026. He told the board the firm plans a dedicated alumni website with profiles, direct messaging, class reunion pages and an expanded "Wildcat Watch" newsletter to share alumni spotlights, sponsor features and engagement opportunities.
Zav said the site would include tools for students preparing for college—mentorship, internship connections and virtual conversations with alumni—and that the firm is coordinating with the district PR office and Booster Club to highlight reunions and athletic and academic achievements. He asked community members to respond to the survey and support the network initiative.
The board heard the presentation and offered congratulations; no vote was required for the informational update. Standard Advisors indicated it will return with additional materials and rollout plans.
