The motion passed unanimously.
Trustees asked the VFW to provide exact sign measurements and a map showing the proposed placement before final installation. The council used the discussion to flag a broader issue: members said the village needs a comprehensive land-use plan to guide long-term decisions about vacant village-owned parcels rather than approving individual signs or uses piecemeal.
