Todd County approves hires, appointments and MIS staffing change

The Todd County Board approved multiple personnel actions during its July 21 meeting. The consent agenda (adopted unanimously) included appointment of Alex Miller to fill a vacant Heavy Equipment Operator position at the Little Sauk Shop (Grade F, Step K, $34.81 per hour) and authorization to hire Nicole Vigil as a Care Coordinator (Grade I/9, Step B, $34.14 per hour) with a start date to be determined. The board also accepted resignations of Eligibility Workers Lorena Luna and Yolanda Jobe, effective July 24, 2026.
Separately, the board appointed Dennis Ebnet as the At‑Large representative to the Todd County Parks & Trails Board effective immediately. The board authorized posting for a full‑time MIS Technician and eliminating the part‑time MIS Technician position from the organizational chart. In Health & Human Services, on a majority vote the board authorized hiring two Care Coordinators in the Adult Services Unit.
Most personnel motions were adopted by unanimous vote; the HHS hiring authorization passed by majority vote. County staff will follow up on hiring details, start dates and any necessary onboarding procedures.
