Library Director JeNel Barth told the Drake Public Library Board of Trustees on July 8 that the library's Summer Reading Program enrolled more than 200 children and will conclude on July 13 with a visit from Pancake Day Queen Emery Hawkins.
Barth also reported that Adult Services programming is being planned, including physical therapy and hospice programs, and that Book Chat returns in July with the title 'Theo of Golden' by Allen Levia. Barth said Children's Library staff will work with local school staff to coordinate activities around the recently adopted four-day school week calendar.
