Trustees approve Farmer’s Market and Nassau County SPCA event for Village Green

On consent motions during the work session, trustees approved Schneider’s Farm use of the Village Green for a Farmer’s Market to run Sundays from June 7 through November 22, 2026, with vendor setup from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and public hours 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (Resolution #2026-03-19).
The Board also approved Nassau County SPCA’s request to use the Village Green on Sunday, May 17, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with the event itself beginning at 11:00 a.m., for an Animal Abuse Awareness and Adoption event (Resolution #2026-03-20). The minutes list dates and hours but do not include insurance, fees or permit conditions.
