Notus special session: two task orders approved, council adjourns

At the Nov. 7 special session the Notus City Council approved Task Order 24-01 (culvert analysis, including Denver Ave) and Task Order 2402 (preparation of LOIs for state drinking-water grants) and adjourned at 7:25 p.m.
The Notus City Council met in a special session Nov. 7 and approved two city engineer task orders before adjourning.
The council unanimously approved Task Order 24-01 to inspect four culverts (adding Denver Avenue to the scope) and noted the work is intended for planning grant purposes, not construction. The council also unanimously approved Task Order 2402 directing the city engineer to prepare letters of intent for the state revolving fund and an emerging contaminant drinking-water grant; LOIs are due Jan. 10 and draft materials will be presented to council in December. Councilwoman Lupita Connor moved to adjourn at 7:25 p.m.; Devin Krasowski seconded and the meeting ended.
