Councilman Devin Krasowski moved to dispense with the three-day reading requirement and to read the ordinance by title only; the council approved that motion and subsequently approved the ordinance on a unanimous roll call.
Mayor David Porterfield opened a properly advertised public hearing on the budget amendment; City Clerk Loretta Vollmer said no written comments were received and no members of the public signed up to speak. The council’s approval adds the RAISE grant amount to the city’s FY2025 appropriations and authorizes the mayor and clerk to complete related administrative steps under the ordinance.
