The district’s finance presentation included preliminary figures for June: general-fund revenue collections reported at 377,399,603 and FY25 comparison at 377,192,426; total revenues through June at 424,306,908; preliminary general-fund expenditures through June at 362,638,404; and preliminary expenditures for all funds at 444,981,481. The presenters said the increase in expenditures is in line with the budget and trending lower than projections.
The board moved to approve the statement of revenues and expenditures for June 2026, the combined balance sheet and the statement of cash flow. The June cash balance for district maintenance was reported at 188,340,972, total cash for all funds at 240,099,853, and invested funds with Regions Bank at 53,077,572, as read from the staff report. The board approved certification of bank reconciliations and other finance items as presented.
Board members did not amend the figures on the record; staff noted some items are preliminary and that final adjustments (for example for payroll) will be reconciled through August 17.
