"So currently, the county will pay up to $7,500 a year based on the mileage for bridal provided to individuals 60 and older," she said, and asked that the county accept the full $7,500 and split it quarterly to help operations.
A commissioner moved to approve payment of the full $7,500 annually in quarterly installments; the motion was seconded and passed by voice vote. Commissioners discussed reporting, quarterly financial updates to monitor use and effectiveness, and the program's reliance on state and federal grants for the balance of operating support.
