The board approved the Director of Rodgers Ranch job description and authorized formation of a management committee composed of the superintendent, Ag department chair, two board members, the Chief Business Official and the Director of the Ranch. Board members said they wanted to proceed cautiously on salary commitments and to evaluate operations incrementally.
In discussion the Rodgers Ranch Committee reviewed enterprise ideas, rebranding, AgSTEP involvement, class integration, project updates, a Tinker Trail, and status of walnuts and olives; Tony Rosiles provided an update on agricultural operations. The board identified next steps for staffing and oversight and established the committee to coordinate future decisions and implementation.
