Separately, Chair Don Smyker reported that the Coconut River Water Management Authority has hired a new director, Judy Joyce, who has spent the last month onboarding and will lead the authority's first meeting later in the month. Smyker said there has been no break in services during the transition and that staff will meet with the new director to plan grant work and next steps.
