On the record, Elizabeth Townsend — introduced as the environmental health director — asked the board to set the hearing and said the replacement ordinance will supplant ordinances 250 and 88. Townsend told supervisors she is awaiting a PDF of rule changes from the Department of Natural Resources and will circulate the materials to the board for review before the hearing. The hearing was scheduled by motion, second and voice vote.
Townsend clarified that the draft will incorporate DNR changes as appropriate but that there were no specific new stipulations in the submitted ordinance language beyond what will be provided by the state. Supervisors asked for the materials to be sent to them once received.
